IRVINE, Calif. – This week’s PacWest Golfers of the Week are Hawai’i Hilo’s Dalen Yamauchi, Dixie State’s Kenny You and Academy of Art’s Sterling Hawkins. The awards are based on matches played March 19-25.

Yamauchi and You both earned individual wins on the week. Yamauchi shared the title at the So Cal Intercollegiate with a three-round score of 218. He improved in each round, firing a two-under par 71 in the final round to move into the lead. You took the title at the CBU Men’s Invitational with a three-round score of 213. He shot a three-under 69 in the first round and a two-under 70 in the third round to win by a stroke.
 
Women’s Golfer of the Week – Sterling Hawkins (Academy of Art)

Hawkins earned her second weekly award with her second-consecutive top-10 finish. She came in seventh place at the CSUMB Otter Invitational with a 152, just four strokes off the leader. She was tied for second with an even par 72 after the first round.
