2015 All-PacWest Women's Golf
IRVINE, Calif. – The 2015 All-PacWest Women’s Golf Team was announced Wednesday by the league office. Academy of won at least a share of all three individual awards and California Baptist led the conference with five All-PacWest selections.
Academy of Art’s
Crystal Wang and California Baptist’s
Tina Yang were named Co-PacWest Golfer of the Year. Wang finished in the top-20 in all 10 tournaments in 2014-15, including seven top-10 places. She was the runner-up at the CBU Invitational and tied for 13
th at the PacWest Championship. She shared individual medalist honors at the NCAA Regional and finished tied for 27
th at the NCAA Championship as the first ART U golfer to ever compete in the event. A WCGA All-West Region selection, Wang posted a scoring average of 76.7.
Yang placed in the top-20 in nine of CBU’s 10 tournaments, including eight top-10 finishes and the CBU Invitational title. She tied for first at the PacWest Championship and lost the medalist title in a playoff hole. She posted a scoring average of 76.04 and two par-or-better rounds.
Academy of Art’s
Shu-Lin Lin was named PacWest Freshman of the Year. She recorded nine top-20 finishes, including four top-10 performances. She came in third place at the PacWest Championship, and was tied for the lead heading into the final round.

Elaine Harris and Point Loma’s
Jacqui McSorley were named Co-PacWest Coach of the Year. Harris guided ART U to a third-place finish at the PacWest Championship and the program’s first NCAA Regional bid since 2013. In their first season as a full NCAA Division II member, McSorley led the Sea Lions to two tournament titles and a fourth-place finish at the PacWest Championship.
