IRVINE, Calif. – The 2014-15 PacWest Scholar-Athletes of the Year were announced on Thursday. The awards recognize one student-athlete from each of the PacWest’s 15 sponsored sports for their academic and athletic achievements during the year.

The honorees were selected in a vote by the PacWest sports information directors. Each of the winners are now eligible for the PacWest Male and Female Scholar-Athlete of the Year awards, which will be announced in the coming weeks.

Dixie State’s Zach Robbins (Men’s Basketball), Azusa Pacific’s Allison Updike (Women’s Track and Field) and Point Loma’s Claire Mathews (Women’s Soccer) were all repeat selections as Scholar Athletes of the Year in their respective sport. Fresno Pacific’s Dallas Nord (Men’s Cross Country) was the Men’s Track and Field Scholar-Athlete honoree last year.
