CO-PLAYER OF THE WEEK
Dominique Tarrant (NDNU)
OH, Jr., Newark, Calif./Notre Dame San Jose HS
Tarrant powered NDNU to a 3-1 record at the Route 92 Showdown, the best start in school history. She averaged 4.10 kills and 3.90 digs per set, notching a pair of double-doubles. She had 14 kills, a .444 hitting percentage and a career-high six blocks against Cal State Dominguez Hills. She recorded season-bests of 15 kills and 18 digs against Stanislaus State.
CO-PLAYER OF THE WEEK
Heather Leavitt (Point Loma)
OH, Sr., Mesa, Ariz./Red Mountain
Leavitt was the MVP of the Seaside Invitational, leading the Sea Lions to a 4-0 start to the season. She averaged 5.27 kills and 4.07 digs per set in the tournament, recording a double-double in every match. She had 35 kills against UC San Diego, tied for the sixth-most in program history, with an impressive .370 hitting percentage on 81 attempts.
DEFENDER OF THE WEEK
Amanda Lee (Dominican)
L, Jr., Daly City, Calif. /Sacred Heart Cathedral Preparatory
Lee tallied 111 digs in the Route 92 Showdown on the weekend, averaging 6.94 digs per set. She leads the conference in digs average by more than two digs per set. She had 39 digs in a five-set win over Cal State Dominguez Hills, setting the Dominican record in the DII era.
CO-FRESHMAN OF THE WEEK
Stine Raben (Academy of Art)
OH, Fr., Schwerin, Germany/Sportgymnasium Schwerin
Raben averaged 3.00 kills per set in the Route 92 Showdown, the top mark amongst PacWest freshman on opening weekend. Her 48 kills are the most through the first four matches by a freshman in ARTU history. She tallied a career-high 16 kills in her collegiate debut against Montana State-Billings. She notched her first double-double with 15 kills and 12 digs against Cal State Monterey Bay.
CO-FRESHMAN OF THE WEEK
Daisia LaBrie (Chaminade)
MB, Fr., Riverside, Calif./Norco
LaBrie totaled 30 kills and 18 blocks in the Honolulu Invitational, as Chaminade won the event with a perfect 4-0 record. She had career-highs of 13 kills and seven blocks in her collegiate debut against Simon Fraser. She then had seven kills and four blocks against No. 12 Sonoma State.
