IRVINE, Calif. – This week’s PacWest Golfers of the Week are Nicklaus Britt (Dixie State) and Vicky Kuo (Academy of Art). The awards are based on events played Oct. 13-19.
 
MEN’S GOLFER OF THE WEEK
Nicklaus Britt (Dixie State)
So. – Fillmore, Utah/Millard
 
Britt won the second-consecutive honor for Dixie State, earning his first collegiate top-five finish. He finished fourth at the Otter Fall Invitational, hosted by Cal State Monterey Bay at the Bayonet Golf Course. He carded a 2-under 214, including an even par 72 in the final round.
 
WOMEN’S GOLFER OF THE WEEK
Vicky Kuo (Academy of Art)
So. – Taoyuan, Taiwan/Yung Ping Vocational High School
 
Kuo led No. 10 Academy of Art to a second-place finish at the Sonoma State Women’s Fall Invitational at Foxtail Golf Club. Kuo finished second individually with a 3-over 147, two strokes off the leader. She shot a career-low 73 in the first round and a 74 in the second. Academy of Art had all four scoring players finish in the top-25.
