IRVINE, Calif. – This week’s PacWest Golfers of the Week are Sterling Hawkins (Academy of Art) and Haley Fuller (Point Loma).  The awards are based on events played Oct. 20-26. (No men’s teams competed this week.)
 
WOMEN’S CO-GOLFER OF THE WEEK
Sterling Hawkins (Academy of Art)
Jr.- San Jose, Calif./Willow Glen
 
Hawkins claimed her second PacWest weekly honor after placing second at the Dennis Rose Invitational at Waikoloa Beach Course in Waikoloa, Hawai’i.  She shot 228 in three rounds (74, 74, 80) and finished +12.  Hawkins led her team to a first-place finish with an overall team-score of 916, with the three other scorers from Academy of Art placing within the top-six.
 
WOMEN’S CO-GOLFER OF THE WEEK
Haley Fuller (Point Loma)
Jr.- Rancho Santa Margarita, Calif./Trabuco Hills
 
Fuller placed third at the CSUSM Fall Classic, where she helped her team to a fourth-place finish.  She shot 146 in two rounds, shooting 74 in the first-round and an even-par final round of 72 to finish +2.  She had a tournament-high seven birdies and lead in par-3 scoring average (2.75).
