Kavan Eubank (California Baptist) and
Sabrina Virtusio (Academy of Art). The awards are based on events played March 17-23.
MEN’S GOLFER OF THE WEEK
Kavan Eubank (CBU)

Eubank led CBU to its first tournament title as an NCAA Division II member, and first since 2011-12, as the Lancers won their host invitational by seven strokes with an 869 (290-288-291). He shot a 2-under 214 in the three rounds, missing out on medalist honors by just one stroke. He was even par in the first and third rounds, and shot a 2-under 70 in the second round at the Eagle Glen Golf Club.
WOMEN’S GOLFER OF THE WEEK
Sabrina Virtusio (Academy of Art)
Fr., Concord, Calif./ Carondelet
Virtusio recorded the best finish of her ART U career, claiming second place at the Otter Invitational at the Bayonet & Blackhorse Golf Courses. She carded a seven-over 151, just one stroke behind the lead spot. She shot a 74 in the second round, a three-stroke improvement from her first round performance. Virtusio’s previous best finish was eighth place at the DBU Women’s Classic in October. Academy of Art finished fourth as a team.
