IRVINE, Calif. -- California Baptist and Academy of Art men's and women's cross country both competed at the Conference Crossover and put up strong performances with the California Baptist women claiming the team title. Biola also competed at UC San Diego and earned one of the weekly awards.
WOMEN'S CROSS COUNTRY
RUNNER OF THE WEEK
Emeline Delanis, California Baptist
Jr. – Draveil, France/Lycee Rosa Parks de Montgeron
Delanis took third place in the Conference Crossover with a time of 21:36.2 to lead the PacWest individually. Her effort helped California Baptist earn the team title with a score of 51 to edge Grand Valley State. It was the Lancers' third consecutive win this year.
FRESHMAN OF THE WEEK
Mackenna Mason, Biola
Fr. – Yucaipa, Calif./Yucaipa HS
Mason took seventh place at the UC San Diego Triton Classic to help Biola finish in third place as a team. Mason posted a time of 22:32.36 and finished second for the Eagles. Biola beat Humboldt State by a single point, taking third place behind host UC San Diego and Cal Poly Pomona.
MEN'S CROSS COUNTRY
RUNNER OF THE WEEK
Gatien Airiau, Academy of Art
Sr. – Sassenage, France/EGC Chambery
Airiau also earned the NCAA Division II Runner of the Week honor from the USTFCCCA after winning the individual title at the Conference Crossover. Airiau finished with a time of 24:42.7 to help Academy of Art take eighth place as a team.

McMarshall Hartzenburg, California Baptist
Fr. – Capetown, South Africa/West Cape
Hartzenburg finished in third place at the Conference Crossover to lead California Baptist to a second-place team finish. Hartzenburg recorded a time of 24:57.0 to lead the Lancers and be the first underclassman to cross the line.
