Mobolade Ajomale (Academy of Art) and
Craig Mattox (Academy of Art). The awards are based on competition from March 13-March 19.
TRACK ATHLETE OF THE WEEK
Mobolade Ajomale (Academy of Art)

A week after earning national titles in the indoor 60m and 200m and winning DII Indoor Men's Track Athlete of the Year, Ajomale impressed in his outdoor debut. At the Hornet Invitational Ajomale became the season's first automatic qualifier among men's sprint events with a 10.29 in the 100m dash. He also rose to No. 1 in the country in the 200m mere hours later, going 20.87 for the nationals provisional.

Craig Mattox (Academy of Art)

Mattox put himself in the country’s top -two in the long jump this week at the Hornet Invitational. He flew to a nationals provisional 7.56m in just his third attempt, winning the event and putting himself less than an inch behind current national leader.
