Hannah Benoit-Bucher from Point Loma,
Daniela Camacho from Notre Dame de Namur and
Gabe Plendcio from Biola. Plendcio took first place at the TMU Mustang Invitational to lead Biola to its third-consecutive first-place finish as a team.
WOMEN’S CROSS COUNTRY
CO-RUNNER OF THE WEEK
Daniela Camacho, Notre Dame de Namur
Sr. – Menlo Park, Calif./DeAnza College
Over 250 runners competed in the Capital Cross Challenge and Camacho took 88th place to help the Argonauts to a 24th-place team finish. The senior finished with a time of 23:03.1 to lead all PacWest runners in a race that featured primarily NCAA Division I runners.

Hannah Benoit-Bucher, Point Loma
Sr. – Clovis, Calif./Buchanan/Biology
At the 44
th Charles Bowles Willamette Invitational, Benoit-Bucher took 11th place individually to lead Point Loma to a sixth-place team finish. The Sea Lion recorded a time of 17:32.9 and was the third NCAA Division II runner across the finish line at the 5k race. Benoit-Bucher had a pace of 3:30.6 per kilometer, and narrowly missed a top-10 finish by less than a second.

Katelyn Wilson, Concordia
Fr. – Yorba Linda, Calif./Esperanza/Liberal Arts
Wilson finished in 139th place at the Capital Cross Challenge after covering the 6k course in a time of 23:45.6 to be the third Eagle to cross the finish line. She helped Concordia take 20th place as a team.

Emily Donahue, Point Loma
Fr. – Buellton, Calif./Santa Ynez Valley Union/Applied Health Science
Donahue took 44th place in the 44
th Charles Bowles Willamette Invitational and was the fourth Point Loma runner across the finish line. Her time of 18:28.1 ranked 13
th among freshman at the race as she helped Point Loma take sixth place as a team.
MEN’S CROSS COUNTRY
RUNNER OF THE WEEK
Gabe Plendcio, Biola
Jr. – Ramona, Calif./Ramon/History
Plendcio won the 2018 TMU Mustang Invitational, taking first place out of 189 runners. The junior completed the 8k race in a time of 24:52.1. Plendcio led Biola to a third-consecutive 1st-place finish to start the 2018 season.
FRESHMAN OF THE WEEK
Jared Donnel, Biola
Fr. – Woodinville, Wash./Bellevue Christian School/Accounting
Donnell was the fourth Eagle to cross the finish line at the TMU Mustang Invitational. The freshman completed the race in 25:49.7 to take 23
rd place overall. It is the freshman’s second-consecutive award after helping Biola to another first-place team finish.
