IRVINE, Calif. -- Academy of Art earned its fourth-consecutive top-3 finish and first team title of the year, winning the Mikuni Sushi Shootout hosted by Holy Names this week with a score of 617. Holy Names finished in second place with a score of 638.
Anahi Servin claimed the individual title with a score of 149, while Holy Names was led by
Jamie Lopez and
Jesse Kaneshiro, who tied for fifth place with a score of 158.
Iveta Poslendi and
Shu-Lin Lin also represented Academy of Art in the top five on the leaderboard.
Hawai`i Pacific finished in sixth place followed by Dominican in seventh place as both teams placed one player inside the top 20 on the leaderboard. The Sharks'
Pranisa Chimsuti scored 163, and the Penguins'
Emma Gilmore recorded a score of 162.
Hawai`i Hilo competed in the Rattler Invitational and took 16th place with a score of 726.
Keely Kitamura led the Vulcans with a score of 173 to finish in 68th place overall.

Servin ran away with the title at the Mikuni Sushi Shootout hosted by Holy Names, winning by five strokes with a score of 149. Sonoma State's Cristina Picariello took second place with a score of 154. Servin shot a 74 in the first round and was only one stroke off her own pace in the second round to finish far ahead of the competition. The freshman also led Academy of Art to the team title with a score of 617, which was 21 strokes ahead of host Holy Names in second place.
