Servin Wins First Title Of Fall Season For Academy Of Art

IRVINE, Calif. -- The 2018-19 women's golf season got started this week with three PacWest teams competing in the Otter Invitational, and Academy of Art's Anahi Servin claimed the individual title to earn recognition as the PacWest Women's Golfer of the Week.

Academy of Art led the three PacWest schools at the event, finishing in second place out of 10 teams with a score of 34-over-par 610. Holy Names was led by Sofia Young in third place with a score of 4-over-par 148 as the Hawks took fourth place as a team. Dominican took 10th place in its first event of the season with a score of 142-over-par 718.

The 2018 PacWest individual champion began her sophomore season with another individual title, winning the Otter Invitational. Servin was under par in both rounds to finish the tournament with a score of 2-under-par 142. She won the tournament by a five-stroke margin and led Academy of Art to a second-place team finish.
