PHOENIX – Azusa Pacific sophomore forward Kelly Hardeman (Manila, Philippines/Faith Academy) has been selected the Pacific West Conference Women's Basketball Defensive Player of the Week for Nov. 25.

The award was presented for games played Nov. 18-24 during the third week of the season. The defender award takes into consideration a strong all-around defensive performance and factors in steals, blocks and defensive rebounds.

Hardeman led the Cougars to a 1-1 week by averaging 5.5 defensive rebounds and 3.0 steals per game.

She also contributed offensively by averaging 21.0 points per contest while pulling down 7.5 rebounds per game.
