Chaminade's De'Andre Haskins claims PacWest Player of The Year honor

De'Andre Haskins AZUSA, Calif. – Chaminade's De'Andre Haskins claimed the Pacific West Conference Player of The Year award, Fresno Pacific's John Taylor was named the Newcomer of the Year, and Academy of Art's Alex Carmon claimed Freshman of the Year accolades when the PacWest announced its annual awards and 2013 All-Conference Team on Thursday, March 7, live on PacWest Radio on KQCK Radio.

Jon Judkins of Dixie State and Booker Harris of Dominican shared the PacWest Men's Basketball Coach of the Year honors.

This season, the PacWest expanded its all-conference selections to include a Third Team. The league selects seven players for its First, Second and Third teams, and then seven for its Honorable Mention listing.
