INDIANAPOLIS--Sunday night's NCAA Selection Show didn't hold a ton of drama for either team chosen from the Pacific West Conference.
Azusa Pacific and Point Loma are in, all that was left was to confirm where they were both going. Now we know.
No. 1 Cal State Monterey Bay, who won the CCAA tournament, will host No. 4 Point Loma and No. 5 Cal Poly Pomona. No. 2 seed Cal State San Bernardino will welcome No. 3 Azusa Pacific and No. 6 Western Oregon. WOU was the winner of the GNAC tournament, while APU won the PacWest tournament.
The winners of the two brackets will advance to play a best 2-of-3 Super Regional series at the site of the higher seed, May, 25-27.
Here is a look at the double elimination tournaments, where play begins on Thursday. There are two games slated for Thursday, one on Friday and then the championship on Saturday (one game, two if necessary).
