PacWest Men's Soccer Record Book Has New Entries

Point Loma won the regular season title, Westmont captured the first-ever conference tournament and a number of players entered career and match record lists.

Point Loma winning the PacWest regular season men's soccer title and Westmont taking the inaugural conference tournament were just two of the noteworthy highlights of the 2024 season.

The Sea Lions also set a PacWest record for most goals in a single match with nine against Academy of Art (9-1) on Nov. 9, and they also notched the third most assists in a match on the same day (10). Individually Vanguard's DJ Kiernan fired 12 shots in a match against Providence Christian on Oct. 16, second most in the PacWest record book.

Additionally in the single match category, four players recorded three assists in a single match--Westmont's Erik Guerrero, Fresno Pacific's Fabrico Pozas Saboya and Point Loma's Felix Calero and Simon Segal. Those are the second highest totals in the PacWest record book.

A number of players climbed the career record book as they wrapped up their collegiate careers, including Concordia's Andre Flores who departs fifth all-time in goalkeeper saves with 212.
