Ten PacWest WXC Teams to Toe the Line in a Month

The 2026 women's cross country season begins on Sept. 3. Can Biola make it FIVE titles in a row?

Practice begins soon and runners will toe the starter's line September 3-5 to kick off the 2026 Pacific West Conference women's cross country season.

You can see the complete schedules for all ten women's XC teams here.

Westmont and Point Loma will be the first to hear the starter's gun on Thursday (Sept. 3) at UC Santa Barbara's invitational (Warriors) and the Aztec Invite (Sea Lions). On Friday (Sept. 4), Dominican will run in Golden Gate Park at the University of San Francisco's opener.

By Saturday, everyone will have a race under their belt when Jessup runs at Simpson, Concordia is at the Coyote Classic hosted by CSU San Bernardino, Biola and Vagnuard will compete at CSU Fullerton, while Hawai`i Pacific, Hawaii Hilo and Chaminade will compete at the University of Hawai`i's Big Wave Invitational.

Two months later is the Pacific West Conference Championships on Sunday, November 8 in Rocklin, Calif., on Jessup's campus course. Biola seeks to win their fifth straight PacWest title, something no other WXC team has done before. Biola (2022-25) and former conference members Seattle Pacific (1996-99) and California Baptist (2014-17) all won four in a row.

The closest thing to a conference preview will be held on Sept. 19 when five (half) of the PacWest schools will race at UC Riverside's meet (Concordia, Biola, Vanguard, Point Loma and Westmont). On October 10, the Eagles and Golden Eagles will face many of the nation's best in Illinois at the Lewis Invitational.

The 2026 NCAA West Region meet will be in Sacramento this year (Nov. 21) and the NCAA National Championships will be hosted in Lawrence, Kansas on December 5.
