3.12.7      OFFICE STAFF/ SPORTS COMMUNICATIONS

 
The conference shall employ an Office Staff/Sports Communications, whose duties shall include:
 
3.12.7.1    Oversee public relations/communications of all PacWest sports.
 
3.12.7.2    Compile statistics and daily scores, write weekly reports, press releases and feature stories, and disseminate information in a timely manner.
 
3.12.7.3    Utilize traditional and social media channels to disseminate PacWest information. Maintain working knowledge of developing social and digital media trends.
 
3.12.7.4    Oversee the design and production of print materials, including championship programs, record books and promotional items, as necessary.
 
3.12.7.5    Oversee the PacWest awards program, including weekly, annual, regional and national awards. Coordinate the nomination, voting and publication in a timely fashion.
 
3.12.7.6    Oversee the design, layout, production and maintenance of the PacWest website, with direct oversight of press releases, schedules and statistics, as necessary.
 
3.12.7.7    Coordinate statistical and media operations at PacWest Championship events and Attend select events, as necessary.
 
3.12.7.8    Manage all aspects of the PacWest bylaws, operations code, sport regulations and strategic plan related to athletic communications/sports information.
 
3.12.7.9    Work with the sports information/athletics communications directors at the conference institutions to ensure an efficient flow of information between the institutions.
 
3.12.7.10    Work with the Conference Sports Information and Strategic Positioning Committees, and on other committees, as assigned.
 
3.12.7.11    Collaborate with the NCAA information services and other necessary personnel in regional conferences.
 
3.12.7.12    Promote PacWest membership participation within College Sports Communicators (formerly CoSIDA) and other NCAA information service organizations.
 
3.12.7.13    Establish and uphold standards in keeping with PacWest and NCAA sports information policies.

3.12.7.14    Attend administrative meetings of the Conference, as designated by the Commissioner.
 
3.12.7.15    Oversee and assist with specific sports and sport committees, specific championships and special projects, as     assigned by the Commissioner.
