1.2   FUNDAMENTAL  POLICY

 
It is the fundamental policy of the Conference that a member institution accept the philosophy and principles of the National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) for the conduct of intercollegiate athletic programs; that the legislation of the Conference shall apply to basic athletic issues such as admissions, financial aid, eligibility, and recruiting; and that member institutions shall be obligated to enforce and apply this legislation. Institutional failure to comply will result in sanctions.
