8.7    DISCIPLINARY ACTION WITH REGARD TO NCAA RULES VIOLATIONS

8.7.1          All violations require a minimum penalty of a letter of admonishment written by the offending institution (to be held on file at the institution), and rules education for the entire athletic department.
 
8.7.2          Any violation determined to be more egregious, and deserving of a compliant would go through the appropriate Ad Hoc Committee as is required by the current Pacific West Conference Bylaws.
 
8.7.3          Any violation in which a Pacific West Conference member institution determines the minimum penalty is not appropriate, the member institution must provide written documentation to the Conference office, along with case precedent, for relief from the minimum penalty with the violation report.
