2.6  NCAA  MEMBERSHIP

 
2.6.1          Member institutions have designated their Conference-­-affiliated athletic programs as Division II for the purpose of competition in those sports in which the NCAA sponsors a national championship conducted under the division plan.
 
2.6.2          If a member maintains an intercollegiate team in an active Conference sport, then that team must compete in the Conference approved schedule, unless an exception is granted by the Commissioner in the waiver review and appeals process noted in the Conference Operations Code (section 2.2.1.2).
