Constitution & Bylaws
2.8 DUES
2.8.1 All regular and affiliate members of the Conference shall pay annual dues sufficient to cover all costs of operating the Conference.
2.8.2 The amount of annual dues shall be established by the Executive Board. Dues may be reviewed each year by the Executive Board.
2.8.3 The Conference office shall invoice member institutions for annual Conference dues on or around July 1 of the Conference fiscal year. Dues are payable by September 1 of the same year.
2.8.4 Member institutions, regular and affiliate, may be subject to further assessment during the year if regular annual dues are not sufficient to support all the legitimate activities of the Conference. The amount of such assessment may be recommended by the Commissioner in consultation with the Chair of the Executive Board and must be approved by the Executive Board.
2.8.5 Institutions not submitting annual dues on or before September 1 for a given academic year shall be assessed a late fee of $200. The Commissioner may accommodate reasonable requests of institutions unable to make payment by the deadline.
2.8.6 Institutions approved for Conference membership are subject to an Entry Fee in the first full fiscal year after submission of their application to the NCAA DII Membership process. Entry Fees for new members shall be equal to the annual Conference dues for existing members in that first full year at DII application. New members are not subject to Conference dues in that first year after DII application. In the year following their payment of Entry Fees, new members shall follow the standard Conference dues payment process and are subject to the same Conference dues as existing members. Any deviation from this timeline is subject to review and approval by the Executive Board.
