3.5    CONFERENCE  PERSONNEL

 
3.5.1          Conference  Commissioner
 
The Conference shall employ a Commissioner. The Commissioner is the Chief Administrative Officer of the Conference. All duties, responsibilities, term(s) of employment and employment evaluation shall be under the authority of the Executive Board. A summary of the Commissioner’s duties is included and found in Article III of the Pacific West Conference Operations  Code.
 
3.5.2          Conference  Staff/Compliance
 
The Conference shall employ an individual who shall oversee and monitor compliance issues within the Conference. All duties, responsibilities, term(s) of employment, position title and employment evaluation shall be under the authority of the Commissioner in consultation with the Executive Board Chair.  An example of the Conference staff/compliance duties is included in Article III of the Pacific West Conference Operations Code.

3.5.3          Conference Staff/Media  Relations
 
The Conference shall employ an individual who shall oversee media relations and sports information issues within the Conference. All duties, responsibilities, term(s) of employment, position title and employment evaluation shall be under the authority of the Commissioner in consultation with the Executive Board Chair. An example of the Conference staff/media relations duties is included in Article III of the Pacific West Conference Operations Code.
