SURPRISE, Ariz.--Azusa Pacific head coach
Mark Bohren and his lead player

Amelija Supulniece of Academy of Art is the Freshman of the Year. The rookie from Latvia played every match this season on court one in singles and in doubles. In singles she was 10-4 and is 7-3 in doubles heading into the conference tournament.
