TRACK ATHLETE OF THE WEEK: Academy of Art's Tre`Sean Bouie, Sprints, Grad., 5-11, Philadelphia, Penn.
Academy of Art's Tre`Sean Bouie blitzed to a time of 47.22 in the 400 meters at the Hornet Invite in Sacramento. That's the second-best 400m time in NCAA Division II this season, bettering the NCAA qualifying standard by 0.44 seconds. The South Florida transfer ran leadoff legs of 4x400m (3:11.20) and 4x100m (40.67) relays that are second and 11th-fastest respectively in NCAA DII this season, bettering the standards by two and 0.13 seconds respectively. All three marks are Outdoor Nationals provisional qualifiers.

Fresno Pacific's Adrian Hodges is the first Field Athlete of the Week this spring after soaring to a career best this in the triple jump in February and followed that up with a leap of 49-1 at the Hornet Invite. Hodges went 50-5 1/2 earlier this outdoor season, and also topped his collegiate best in the long jump at 23-7 1/4. Hodges, who finished third in the triple jump at the PacWest Championships last year, also ran a leg on the Sunbird 4x100 relay team that clocked 40.61.
NEWS AND NOTES: Jessup's Gianni Miles set a school mark in the 100 meters with a scorching time of 10.45, and also set Warrior records in the 200 meters (21.26), and 4x100m (42.39). The 200 time is 4th best in DII this spring...
Fresno Pacific's Dejan Mileusnic has the nation's top early season javelin throw (212-9)...
Azusa Pacific's Eric Perez ran 3:49.19 in the 1,500 meters at the Bob Larsen Distance Carnival, a career best.
LOOKING AHEAD: PacWest teams will continue to launch into outdoor season competing in a variety of meets this weekend that include the Texas Relays, CS San Marcos, UC Irvine, West Coast Relays (Fresno), the Stanford Invitational and the Aztec Invitational.
PacWest Championships: The 2025 conference meet will be hosted by Fresno Pacific this year in Fresno, April 25-26. Azusa Pacific will be chasing their ninth consecutive team titles for both men and women.
