Seven PacWest Meet Records Rewritten in Fresno

Fresno Pacific won the men's title, Azusa Pacific captured the women's crown. But did you know that seven new individual records were set?

Seven new PacWest track and field meet records were set last weekend in Fresno, including two standards that were bettered by the athlete already listed at the top of charts.

Hannah Richardson (Azusa Pacific) and Shemar Palmer (Fresno Pacific) improved on their previous marks in the shot put and 400 meters. Richardson heaved the shot 16.29 and Palmer toured the one-lap race in 45.77, both clipping their top marks from 2024.

Other new records include Dominican's Adrian Aguirre in the 110 hurdles (13.64), Olivia Alexandre (Azusa Pacific) in the 800 meters (2:07.24), Melt Von Molendorff (Biola) in the 10,000 meters (30:26.39) and Luisa Fischer (Azusa Pacific) in the javelin (50.14).
