Concordia track and field All-American
Dylan Fox is the 2024-25 Pacific West Conference Male Scholar Athlete of the Year, as selected by the conference's athletic directors.
Fox is the first Concordia student-athlete to receive this award and he is also the inaugural winner from the sport of track and field. Fox won the vote over an impressive list of candidates who had each won their respective Scholar Athletes of the Year by sport.
A senior, the long jump specialist graduated with a 3.91 grade point average in Business Administration with a specialty in Data Analytics. His minor was is in Computer Science.
On the track, Fox was a NCAA First Team All-American this year with 8th place national finish in the long jump. He earned Second Team All-American honors in 2023 and 2024.
The local product (Irvine) became a three-time PacWest Champion in the long jump this spring with a leap of 7.51 meters (24-6). Only one other athlete in the history of the PacWest has won the long jump three straight years (Jermel Jones, APU).
Fox also holds the school record and the PacWest record in his signature event with a 2024 mark of 7.62 meters (25-0).
Fox was named the Concordia Male Athlete of the Year for 2024-25. He has been named to multiple Academic All-PacWest Teams and is a D2ADA Academic Award recipient. He is a two-time winner of the PacWest Track and Field Male Scholar Athlete of the Year (2023 and 2025).
He received the Business and Data Analytics Award - Chosen by Concordia faculty to honor one business student at the top of their class. He had three Internships as an undergrad--with a commercial real estate firm, an accounting firm and this past spring semester at a medical equipment manufacturer.
Fox joined Sigma Beta Delta - the Business Management and Administration Honors Society - that honors Top 20% of students nationally across the country. He also freelanced in web development and business process optimization.
Fox was selected over a talented and smart crew of Scholar Athletes of the Year by Sport, including

Alexander Leischner (Point Loma tennis),
Nicolas-Guy Landry (Menlo golf),
Zackry Paulsen (Point Loma basketball),
Simon Sagal (Point Loma soccer), and
Jansen Gillig (Fresno Pacific cross country).
