The 2025 Pacfic West Conference men's and women's cross country seasons begin in a few weeks, giving you just enough time to fill out your calendar with the schedules before they are off and running.
In about three weeks, a few of those 12 women's teams and 10 men's squads will toe the starting line for the first time in 2025. From there, nearly two months of training and races will be in preparation for the Pacific West Conference Cross Country Championships on Saturday, October 25. The races will be hosted by Hawai`i Pacific University, for the first time in Waipahu at the Hawai`i Country Club.
The first race on the 2025 slate is on Friday, September 5. The University of Hawai`i will host the Big Wave Invitational, in which HPU, Chaminade and Hawai`i HIlo will participate. Vanguard will also host their own invitational on Friday. The next day (Sept. 6) sees Fresno Pacific running at Clovis CC, while Concordia will be at the Coyote Challenge in San Bernardino.
The following weekend (Sept. 12-13), everyone will be in action either at Biola's meet or at races hosted by Stanislaus State and CS San Marcos.
The closest thing to a conference preview for the men will be on October 4 when five PacWest teams compete at Pomona-Pitzer, while four women's teams from the conference will be at the Biola Invitational on Sept. 12.
Azusa Pacific is the two-time defending PacWest champion on the men's side, and Biola has won the last three conference titles for the women.
After the PacWest Championships, Western Oregon University hosts the NCAA Division II West Regional in Monmouth on Nov. 8, while the 2025 National Championships will be in Kenosha, Wisc. on Nov. 22.
