Golden Eagles Move Up to Third in WSOC Ratings

Concordia jumps two spots on the NCAA West Region list, the final ranking before next weekend's selection show.

INDIANAPOLIS, Ind.--Concordia moved from fifth to third in today's NCAA West Region NPI ratings, with Point Loma at fifth, Hawaii Hilo eighth and Biola 14th.

With conference tournaments beginning this week, this is the final rating before next Sunday's NCAA Selection Show.

Last week, Concordia was fifth (they were second two weeks ago), Point Loma was fourth, Hilo was ninth and Biola was 12th.

2026 marks a way to calculate the weekly rankings, which in the past was tabulated by a ratings committee. Now a National Power Index (NPI) will produce the list that eventually will determine what teams qualify for the NCAA postseason. To read more about NPI, click here.

Ultimately, the conference tournament champions from the PacWest, the GNAC and the CCAA will gain automatic NCAA tournament berths, and the next four teams selected will come from this final list for a seven-team tournament.

Here is the top 10 (and Biola) for Monday, November 2.
