INDIANAPOLIS, Ind.--Point Loma, Hawaii Hilo and Biola each
moved up two spots in the latest NCAA Women's Soccer West Region rankings, announced today (Monday) by the national office.
Point Loma is fourth,
Hawaii Hilo ninth, and
Biola is
12th in the NPI calculations. Concordia, who was second last week, slipped to fifth. Last week, Point Loma was sixth, Hawaii Hilo was 11th and Biola listed 14th. Western Washington is No. 1, Cal Poly Pomona is No. 2 and CSU Los Angeles is No. 3.
2026 marks a way to calculate the weekly rankings, which in the past was tabulated by a ratings committee. Now a National Power Index (NPI) will produce the list that eventually will determine what teams qualify for the NCAA postseason. To read more about NPI,

Ultimately, the conference tournament champions from the PacWest, the GNAC and the CCAA will gain automatic NCAA tournament berths, and the next four teams selected will come from this final list for a seven-team tournament.
