Thompson competed at the Bryan Clay Invitational, posting 10.66 in the 100 meters and 21.42 in the 200 meters. Both marks rank among the top times in the PacWest this season. His sprint double came against a deep field and signals strong form heading into the postseason.

Men’s Field Athlete of the Week – John Sakaguchi (Westmont)
Sakaguchi recorded a 7.34m (24-1) long jump this past weekend at the Bryan Clay Invitational, a mark that places him among the PacWest leaders and pushes him into the NCAA Division II provisional mark. The jump stands as one of the top conference performances this season.

News and Notes: Biola’s Donovan Terry ran 10.69 in the 100 meters, placing himself among the top marks in the PacWest this season and entering NCAA Division II provisional consideration... Fresno Pacific’s Shemar Palmer posted 20.46 in the 200 meters and 45.96 in the 400 meters, taking over the top spots in the conference and hitting NCAA provisional marks in both events... Biola’s Mathew Kaloustian recorded 21.37 in the 200 meters, moving into a strong position on the PacWest list while nearing national qualifying range... Fresno Pacific’s Monte Moore ran 1:48.91 in the 800 meters, a mark that ranks near the top of the conference and puts him in the NCAA Division II conversation... Dominican’s Adrian Aguirre clocked 14.00 in the 110-meter hurdles, one of the top times in the PacWest this season and a mark that meets NCAA provisional standards.

LOOKING AHEAD: PacWest teams will travel to the Conference Championship this weekend, hosted by Point Loma in San Diego, CA. Events begin on Friday, April 24th at 8 AM.
