We are in the midst of competitive soccer and volleyballl seasons in the Pacific West Conference and additionally, basketball season is just a few weeks away.
It's a great time of year for college sports fans.

That's right, 14 teams. New to the PacWest this year is Menlo, Vanguard and Jessup. They will play a full conference schedule and are eligible to win the league regular season title, but won't yet be eligible for NCAA postseason play.
It all tips off on October 25, when Hawai`i Hilo hosts the University of Hawai`i at the Civic Auditorium in Hilo in an exhibition game. It will be the first time that Hawai`i has traveled to Hilo to play the Vulcans. A few days later, Oct. 28, defending co-conference champ Point Loma will be in Tucson to play No. 10 ranked University of Arizona, also an exhibition.
Official play begins for real the weekend of November 1-3 when Hilo will be in British Columbia for games against Simon Fraser, Western Oregon and St. Martin's. Nov. 2-3, Point Loma will be in Lakeland, Florida to play Fort Lewis (Colo.) and Florida Southern.
Everyone else springs into action Nov. 8-9 with a slew of non-conference games. PacWest play begins on December 4 with Concordia playing at Biola, with five more games scheduled on Dec. 5-6.
The 2024-25 Pacific West Conference Championship tournament will be held March 6-8 in San Rafael at Dominican University. The top six teams in the final regular season standings will qualify for the tournament (with the exception of first-year members).
