SAN DIEGO--Teams, match-ups and game times are all set for next week's Pacific West Conference Men's Basketball Championships at Point Loma's Golden Gymnasium.
Regular season co-champions Point Loma and Academy of Art have earned the No. 1 and 2 seeds respectively and will have first round byes on Thursday (March 7). The Sea Lions topped the Urban Knights on the final night of the regular season to move into a tie at the top with 15-5 conference records. They split their regular season series and thus share the 2024 conference banner.
Play begins at 12:30 pm on Thursday with the men playing first this year. No. 6 seed Azusa Pacific (10-10) will face No. 3 Hawai`i Pacific (13-7), followed by No. 5 Hawai`i Hilo (12-8) against No. 4 Biola (12-8). In Friday's semifinals, the APU-HPU winner will square off with Academy of Art at 12:30 pm, and the UHH-Biola victor will play Point Loma at 2:45 pm.
The winner of those two semifinals square off in the PacWest Championship on Saturday at 2 pm. The winner gains the PacWest's automatic berth into the NCAA West Region Championships, which will begin the following Thursday, March 14.

Single-day ticket prices are $12 for adults, $5 for students with ID, military with ID, seniors (age 65+), and children (12-18), with 3-day tournament passes available for $30 (no discounts for tournament passes). Children under the age of 12 are admitted free.
