Azusa Pacific won its lone game of the week, while Vanguard bumped Point Loma in action regarding the three teams at the top of the standings. But Fresno Pacific then upset VU to tip the apple cart. Meanwhile, Westmont has won seven in a row, thanks in part last week to Sage Kramer's light's out performance. Vanguard's Emma Schaaf repeats as Defender of the Week.

PLAYER OF THE WEEK: Westmont's Sage Kramer, G-F, Junior, Jr., 5-10, Philomath, Ore.
Westmont's Sage Kramer rarely missed during an incredible shooting week in a pair of home wins. The junior converted 19-of-23 attempts from the field, a sizzling 83 percent, totaling 43 points in wins over Hawai`i Pacific and Chaminade. The Oregon native nailed 10 of 13 shots for 24 points in helping the Warriors top the Sharks, and then followed up by only missing one shot (9-of-10) for 23 points against the Silverswords. Kramer converted 4-of-6 three point attempts and pulled down 13 rebounds for the week as Westmont won its seventh straight to improve to 8-3 in the PacWest.
DEFENDER OF THE WEEK: Vanguard's Emma Schaaf, F, Fr., 6-3, Newhall, Calif.
Vanguard's Emma Schaaf captured Defender of the Week honors for the second straight time as Vanguard split games last week. The 6-foot-3 freshman totaled 28 rebounds and 39 points as the Lions knocked off Point Loma (60-50) and lost to Fresno Pacific (59-54). In the big home win over the Sea Lions, Schaaf had a double-double with 11 points and 16 rebounds, along with a blocked shot. The 16 boards was a career high for the first year collegian, and equaled the second highest total in the PacWest this year. She had her second double-double of the week against the Sunbirds with 18 points, 12 rebounds and three steals.
TEAM OF THE WEEK: The
Westmont Warriors are the PacWest Team of the Week. The Warriors won their sixth and seventh games in a row to improve to 8-3 in the PacWest and to 12-6 overall. Westmont topped Hawai`i Pacific (91-58) and Chaminade (77-49) by a total of 61 points to stay in fourth place in the conference standings. In the win over the Sharks,
Sage Kramer had 24 points and
Jazmyn Shipp added 16 to pace the offense, while Kramer had 23 versus the Silverswords and Shipp had a double-double with 13 points and 14 boards. The win over Chaminade avenged Westmont's last loss, back on January 2 on Oahu to the Silverswords. It was also victory number 600 for Westmont head coach
Kirsten Moore.
THIS WEEK: With just a little over a month left in the regular season, more key games loom this week on the PacWest schedule. It starts off big on Wednesday when Azusa Pacific travels to Point Loma in a battle of top teams. Concordia is at Vanguard and Biola visits Westmont. On Thursday, Menlo is at Hawaii Pacific, Jessup travels to Fresno Pacific, Academy of Art is at Hawaii Hilo, and Dominican is at Chaminade. Jordan Rosette totaled 27 points and 19 rebounds as the Oaks beat Jessup (57-37) and Academy of Art (64-42).
Alberte Frisch had 12 points, six assists and four steals against the Urban Knights...The Eagles edged Chaminade 74-67 paced by 18 points each from

Sydney Moran (7-10 off bench). In a narrow 57-51 victory over Hawaii Pacific,
Laila Walker had 18 points, seven rebounds and six assists.
Jessa Thurman added 13 rebounds...
Amayah Kirkman had a stat sheet to save during
Azusa Pacific's lone game last week, a 77-56 win over Jessup. Kirkman had 25 points, nine rebounds, four assists and six steals. The six thefts is the highest single game total in the PacWest this year...
Cadence Tarrant posted her second career double-double in
Concordia's home win over Hawaii Hilo. The true freshman tallied a career-high 18 points and team-best 13 rebounds to propel CUI to a narrow victory over the Vulcans.
KeanuMarie Huihiu had a season-high 28 points for UHH, the second highest total in the PacWest this season...
Dominican had just one game as well, a 57-48 victory over Fresno Pacific.
Taylor Linzie starred on the defensive end of the court with 21 rebounds and three steals. The 21 boards is a PacWest best in 2024-25...In
Fresno Pacific's 59-54 upset of Vanguard,
Angela Whitfield had a double-double with 15 points and 13 rebounds. The Sunbirds overcame a 24-8 first quarter deficit and outscored the Lions 19-9 in the fourth...
Point Loma bounced back from the loss to Vanguard with a 61-51 win over Hawai`i Hilo.
Eiley Tippins had 16 points and eight rebounds to pace the Sea Lions, who trailed the Vulcans 28-26 at halftime...
Megan Jones had five blocked shots for
Hawaii Pacific against Biola, tied for the highest total in the league...
Sameera Elmasri had 41 poins and 11 rebounds for
Chaminade on the road.
