INDIANAPOLIS--Point Loma is the host for the 2025 NCAA West Region Volleyball Championships, December 4-6 at Golden Gymnasium in San Diego.
The Sea Lions remained in the No. 1 seed position after tonight’s NCAA Selection Show, earning the right to host. It will be the first-ever opportunity for Point Loma to host a NCAA tournament in volleyball.
Point Loma held their position despite a loss in the PacWest title match, an epic clash with
Fresno Pacific that went to 27-25 in the fifth set. The Sunbirds landed in the third spot in the regional rankings, and will play No. 6 Western Washington.
Point Loma will play No. 8 CSU San Bernardino at 4:30 on Thursday, December 4. Fresno Pacific will take on the Vikings at 11 am on Thursday, Dec. 4.
Here is the field and match-ups. The semifinals will be played on Dec. 5 with the championship match set for Saturday, Dec. 6.

11 am—No. 3 Fresno Pacific (25-1) vs. No. 6 Western Washington (19-6)

TBA—No. 2 Simon Fraser (20-4) vs. No. 7 Central Washington (18-7).
