First serve for the 2025 PacWest volleyball season is still over a month away, so before the season begins it's worth taking a look at the vast history of the conference with updated numbers from 2024.

The PacWest volleyball record book goes back to 1982, when Northern Colorado won the title in a league that looked very different geographically than it does today. The first official All-PacWest team was announced in 2003, where the first fun fact surfaces--The 2024 PacWest Coach of the Year (Kahala Kabalis Hoke) also represented Chaminade on that first All-PacWest Team as an outside hitter.

2024 PacWest Player of the Year Abigail Nua of Point Loma is climbing the ranks on various career lists with still another year left to play. Graduated Sea Lion Anna Massari left her mark on a number of lists, including her total of 420 career blocks, which ranks third all-time in the conference. 

Chaminade had 253 service aces in 2024 (fifth all-time) which helped lead them to a conference title, and Hawai`i Hilo's Tani Hoke finished her defensive career with 2,022 digs, sixth all-time on a long PacWest list.
