Pacific West Conference tennis teams are back on the courts after a Fall season of training, with the first matches coming in the next few weeks.
The PacWest has 14 women's teams and nine men's teams. Although there are no official PacWest Conferenece matches during the regular season (no standings are kept), conference squads will square off against each other all spring for seeding into the PacWest Championships, April 15-17 in Surprise, Arizona.
The top six men will qualify and the top eight women's teams will make the trip to the Surprise Tennis and Racquet Club. The complex and city of Surprise has hosted national and conference tennis championships at all levels. This is the 12th year that Surprise has served as the PacWest host, and they will also serve as the NCAA Division II Championships in May for the next two years.
