INDIANAPOLIS, Ind.--The
Concordia women's soccer team landed in the third slot in the first NCAA west region rankings, announced today by the national office.
2026 marks a way to calculate the weekly rankings, which in the past was tabulated by a ratings committee. Now a National Power Index (NPI) will produce the list that eventually will determine what teams qualify for the NCAA postseason. To read more about NPI, click

Ultimately, the conference tournament champions from the PacWest, the GNAC and the CCAA will gain automatic NCAA tournament berths, and the next four teams selected will come from this final list for a seven-team tournament. The No. 1 seed will get a first round bye.
Concordia is No. 3,
Pont Loma is No. 9,
Biola is No. 11 and
Hawaii Hilo lists at No. 13.
