INDIANAPOLIS, Ind.--Concordia moved up to the second slot in the second NCAA Women's Soccer West Region rankings, announced today (Monday) by the national office.
Point Loma is sixth,
Hawaii Hilo 11th, and
Biola is
14th in the NPI calculations. Concordia was third last week, Point Loma was ninth, Hawaii Hilo was 13th and Biola listed 11th. Western Washington is No. 1 and Cal Poly Pomona is No. 3.
2026 marks a way to calculate the weekly rankings, which in the past was tabulated by a ratings committee. Now a National Power Index (NPI) will produce the list that eventually will determine what teams qualify for the NCAA postseason. To read more about NPI,

Ultimately, the conference tournament champions from the PacWest, the GNAC and the CCAA will gain automatic NCAA tournament berths, and the next four teams selected will come from this final list for a seven-team tournament.
