INDIANAPOLIS, Ind.--Point Loma moved up four slots to highlight listings for four Pacific West Conference teams in today's (October 26) NCAA Division II West Region volleyball rankings.
The Sea Lions moved from tenth to sixth to greatly strengthen their postsason position.
Biola is No. 7,
Concordia is No. 8 and
Hawaii Hilo lists at No. 10. Fresno Pacific sits at No. 1, CSU San Bernardino is second and Central Washington is third for the second straight week.
2026 marks a way to calculate the weekly rankings, which in the past was tabulated by a ratings committee. Now a National Power Index (NPI) will produce the list that eventually will determine what teams qualify for the NCAA postseason. To read more about NPI,

Ultimately, the conference tournament champions from the PacWest, the GNAC and the CCAA will gain automatic NCAA tournament berths, and the next five teams selected will come from this final list for a eight-team tournament.
