Sea Lions Hold on to #2 Regional Spot

Point Loma remains in the second slot of the NCAA West Regional Baseball Poll. Concordia is No. 8.

INDIANAPOLIS--The second NCAA West Region Baseball Ranking is out and Point Loma still sits in a hosting spot at No. 2.

Concordia is No. 8 again and is the only other PacWest team listed. In the final ranking, the top six teams will qualify for the tournament. The winner of the three west region conference tournaments (PacWest, CCAA, GNAC) receive an automatic berth in postseason play. The next three teams will come from this final list this coming Sunday, heading to the sites of the top two seeds for 3-team tournaments. 

The PacWest began its championship tournament today in Santa Barbara, defeating Westmont, 9-2. Concordia plays this afternoon against Fresno Pacific.
