INDIANAPOLIS--The official NCAA West Region Baseball Ranking is out and Point Loma sits in a hosting spot at No. 2

Concordia is No. 8 and is the only other PacWest team listed. In the final ranking, the top six teams will qualify for the tournament. The winner of the three west region conference tournaments (PacWest, CCAA, GNAC) receive an automatic berth in postseason play. The next three teams will come from this list in a little less than two weeks, heading to the sites of the top two seeds for 3-team tournaments. 

The PacWest will have its championship tournament next week (May 6-8) in Santa Barbara. Currently, the Sea Lions and Golden Eagles have qualified, with five other teams battling it out for the final two slots with games coming this weekend.

The next regional ranking will be next Wednesday (May 6), followed by the final NCAA Selection Show on Sunday (May 10).

Here is today's ranking (April 29), with records against Division II teams listed through April 26.
