The 2025 volleyball season was one of the most exciting and successful in Pacific West Conference history.

The 2026 campaign will get underway in less than a month, with ten PacWest teams set to square off in an effort to make this fall equally special. To see the 2026 non-conference and conference schedules, click here.

Last year, Point Loma and Fresno Pacific tied for first in the conference standings with 11-1 records. The Sea Lions and Sunbirds then reached the PacWest tournament title match (FPU won), and they would go on to meet again in the NCAA West Region championship. Point Loma won that, and would advance all the way to the NCAA semifinals, the first PacWest team to do so since 2013.

While Fresno Pacific has moved to the CCAA, Point Loma will begin their season in Ellensburg, Wash. against GNAC powers Central Washington, Simon Fraser and Western Washington, August 27-29. All PacWest teams will be in action that weekend at challenging tournaments in Fresno, Dallas, Seaside and San Bernardino. 

The weekend prior (Aug. 20-22), Hawaii Hilo, Hawaii Pacific and Chaminade will kick-off the season in Hilo at the Hawaii-Alaska Challenge. Before that, Hilo will host the University of Hawaii (Aug. 15) in a exhbition match, greeting the Rainbow Wahine for the first time since the 1980's. Chaminade will play at Hawaii Manoa on Aug. 17 in another exhibition match.

The first PacWest match of the year will be on September 9 when Westmont visits Concordia, jump starting a conference schedule where the ten squads will fight over the next two months for the top four positons in the standings. Those four will qualify for the PacWest tournament, Nov. 13-14 at the Freed Center on the campus of Vanguard University in Costa Mesa.
