The Cougars also placed two athletes on the podium in the 400-meter hurdles with Ki'Ana Thomas in second place just ahead of Zoe March in third place. Azusa Pacific got in the record books again with Jacky Chasteler etching her name in the hammer category with a distance of 199 feet, 9 inches (60.88m).

Cathrin Wicke won that event for Fresno Pacific, winning the 400-meter hurdles with a time of 1:00.18 as part of a dominant day for the Sunbirds in the sprints. The best performance as a team for the Sunbirds was in the 200-meter dash, where they swept the podium. After winning the 400-meter dash, Brie Courseault won her second individual event of the day, finishing the 200 in 24.36 seconds. She went home with four gold medals in the meet. Danae Manibog claimed second place with a time of 24.55 seconds and Mikala McClain completed the podium sweep.

McClain earned her individual gold medal in the 100-meter dash with a time of 12.04, and Manibog also earned second place in the 400-meter dash. Those three Sunbirds that swept the 200-meter dash also teamed up to win the 4x400 with a time of 3:47.96, winning the final race of the meet with ease. Fresno Pacific also won the 4x100 in the morning with a time of 46.93 seconds.

Emeline Delanis from California Baptist claimed her second meet record in as many days after she crushed the previous record in the 5000, recording a time of 16:56.30. Anett Somogyi finished in third place for the Lancers in that event. California Baptist also placed two Lancers on the podium for the 800 with Alicia Williams in second place and Bernice Cleyet-Merle in third place.

Point Loma's Hannah Benoit-Bucher won her second event of the meet in the 800 as she crossed the finish line with a time of 2:14.23 to help Point Loma earn fourth place as a team. She also won the 1500 with a time of 4:31.78 in a dominant afternoon in the mid-distance races.

Concordia finished in third place as a team with the help of a strong performance in the hammer throw as three Eagles placed among the top-4 finishers. The leader of those three was Sarah Stafford with a distance of 156 feet, 10 inches (47.81m). She was followed by Dominique Stein and Gabriella Frost. Stafford also earned a medal in the shot put with a first-place throw of 45 feet, 3.5 inches (13.8m) to set a new PacWest meet record that she had set two years prior.

Academy of Art took fifth place with the help of an outstanding meet by Hannah Hensley, who finished second among individual point-earners. She set a new PacWest record in the heptathlon with a score of 4982 points to edge Azusa Pacific's Meagan Warwick, who scored 4827 points. Hensley then went on to win the high jump individually with a height of 5 feet, 6 inches, which didn't even match her mark in the event when she cleared 5 feet, 8.75 inches during the heptathlon.

Biola finished in sixth place in its first time competing in the PacWest Track & Field Championships, and Dixie State wrapped up the meet in eighth place with 15 points in its second year at the meet.

Azusa Pacific never trailed in the meet, recording a dominant performance in the field events to claim the title. Of those individual performances, James Jones was the most frequent visitor of the podium as he earned medals in all four throwing events, including first place in both the discus and shot put.

In the high jump, Miles Poullard crushed the rest of the field and broke his own meet record by clearing 6 feet, 9.5 inches (2.07m) on his first attempt. Zach Munoz and Chad Ponciano also tied for sixth place in that event for the Cougars. Munoz was the decathlete champion of the PacWest Championships with a score of 6398 after winning both the discus and the javelin on Saturday morning. Azusa Pacific performed well in many of the track events, but only took one first place, which was by Joshua Cantong, who won the 800 with a time of 1:52.86.

Fresno Pacific took second place in the team competition, but won the most exciting race of the entire meet. With all teams on the infield for the final race, the Sunbirds had a narrow battle with Azusa Pacific in the 4x400 relay. Michael Taylor began the final leg of the race slightly behind Azusa Pacific, but in the final 50 meters, he pulled in front to win the race by 15-hundredths of a second with a time of 3:15.39.

That capped a strong day for the Sunbirds on the track. Scott Hickam and Tamaj Johnson swept the top-2 spots in the 400-meter dash with Hickam winning first place in 53.12 seconds. Fresno Pacific also took second place in the 4x100 relay with a time of 41.95 seconds. In the field, Tim Holmes took first place in the hammer throw with a distance of exactly 159 feet (48.47m). The Sunbirds also earned 13 points in the high jump as Elijah McDowell earned his first of two medals on the day with a second-place finish at 6 feet, 2.75 inches. He also placed third in the triple jump.

Academy of Art dominated the track events with the 4x100 team getting things started with a gold in a time of 41.07 seconds. Then Marlon Britton won the 110-meter hurdles with a time of 14.57 seconds for another 10 points. The next Urban Knight to take a first-place finish was Mobolade Ajomale, who finished the day with three individual gold medals by winning the 100, 200 and 400-meter dashes. His time of 20.75 seconds in the 200-meter dash tied a PacWest meet record.

The Urban Knights finished the meet with another record-breaking performance, this time by Gatien Airiau, who finished the 5000 in 14:39.78 to beat the previous record by 12 seconds. It was the distance runner's second individual win of the meet as Academy of Art wrapped up the meet with 145 points.

Concordia took fourth place as a team and Josh Fry played a big part in that effort as he scored a 6309 in the decathlon for second place in the event. He also took third place in the high jump, and Christopher Henderson finished in second place in the triple jump for the Eagles, who recorded points in many different events.

California Baptist performed well in the distance events, including sweeping the top-2 spots in the 1500 as Simon Bedard took first place and was followed by McMarshall Hartzenburg, who also took second place in the 5000 with a time of 14:51.71, which would have broken the previous record. The Lancers also landed two runners on the podium for the 800 with Bedard taking third place behind Mike Alukunyang, who had a time of 1:53.22.

Biola had one individual champion as Gabriel Igbokwe won the triple jump with a distance of 47 feet (14.34m) to win the event. Nathaniel Belden also earned points in the event with a fifth-place finish. As a team, Biola earned 65 points, competing in the meet for the first time.
