IRVINE, Calif. -- The PacWest Golfer of the Week is Academy of Art's Iveta Posledni after the junior took second place at the Tim Tierney Invitational this week in Alameda, California.

Posledni helped Academy of Art take third place as a team at the Tim Tierney Pioneer Shootout. The junior got a strong start to the tournament by shooting a 4-under-par 68 in the first round to lead by three strokes. In the second round, Posledni shot a 1-over-par 73 to finish the tournament at 3-under-par 141 to take second place. Anahi Servin finished in fourth place at 2-over-par 146 to help the Urban Knights take third place as a team.
