Vulcans, Camara and Yturralde Highlight WG Record Book Entries

In 2026, Hawai`i Hilo won its first women's golf title since 2014. Westmont's Hannah Camara won a title for the Warriors, their first and PLNU's Annnika Yturralde had the highest regional finish for a PacWest golfer since 2016.

The Pacific West Conference women's golf record book had some impressive entries after the conclusion of the 2026 season.

*Hawai`i Hilo won their first team title since 2014 with a final tally of +31, the fourth best team score in conference history.

*Hannah Camara was the medalist in 2026, giving Westmont their first champion since joining the conference. Camara shot even par for the three rounds, and her first round tally of 68 is tied for the third best 18 hole score in PacWest history.

*Point Loma's +4 score of 292 in the third round of the 2026 tournament is tied for the third best 18-hole score in the PacWest Championships.

*Annika Yturralde of Point Loma finished third at the NCAA West Regional Championships, the best finish for a PacWest player since 2016 (Erica Wong, California Baptist).

*Theresa Shaw of Vanguard was a top ten finisher at the PacWest Championships for the third time, counting her two previous All-PacWest finishes while at Biola. She joins a pack of people with that honor and only two players have been top ten finishers four times.
