SURPRISE, Ariz. -- Hawai`i Hilo advanced to the quarterfinals for the first time since 2012 and earned its first win in the winners' bracket since 2009 by upsetting No. 8 seed Concordia 4-1 on Wednesday afternoon at the Surprise Tennis & Racquet Club, while Fresno Pacific, Academy of Art and Cal State LA all advanced with wins as well in the first round.
