TRACK ATHLETE OF THE WEEK: Azusa Pacific's Nicole Warwick, Multi's, 5-6, Sr., Modesto, Calif.
Azusa Pacific's Nicole Warwick won the 100 hurdles at the Pomona-Pitzer Invitational with red-hot time of 13.55 last Saturday. That is the second fastest time in NCAA Division II this year. Warwick also owns the best long jump thus far in Division II (20-5 3/4), set back in mid-February. The four-time outdoor All-American and 2023 indoor pentathlon national champion is a 10-time All-PacWest performer and three-time PacWest champion.
FIELD ATHLETE OF THE WEEK: Academy of Art's Maire-Jeanne Ourega, Jumps, 5-7, Jr., L'Hay-les-Roses, France
Academy of Art's Marie-Jeanne Ourega bettered her award-winning long jump from one week earlier to claim the Field Athlete of the Week award again. The French woman went 19-7 last week and flew past that mark this week at the Brutus Hamilton Invitational meet in Berkeley. Ourega won the event with a mark of 20-2.5 (6.16M), topping 17 other competitors including 11 Division I athletes. That bested the NCAA Division II provisional qualifying mark and is the fourth longest jump in D-II this season.

LOOKING AHEAD: PacWest teams will be competing at four different meets this coming week, beginning Thursday and running through Saturday--the Bryan Clay Invitational at Azusa Pacific, the Long Beach Invitational, a meet at San Francisco State and a event at CS Los Angeles.
PacWest Championships: The 2024 conference meet will be hosted by Westmont in Santa Barbara this year, April 26-27. Azusa Pacific will be chasing their eighth consecutive team titles for both men and women.
