The Point Loma Sea Lions earned a home match and will face CSU San Bernardino in the second round of the NCAA Men's Super Region 4 playoffs this coming Saturday at 1 pm.
Point Loma, the regular season and PacWest tournament champs, are the No. 3 seed and will face the No. 6 seed 'Yotes. The winner will play the following Saturday (Nov. 29) at No. 2 seed CSU Dominguez Hills.
Hawai`i Hilo from the PacWest also made the tournament. The Vulcans will be the No. 9 seed and face off against No. 8 Western Oregon. It's the first NCAA tournament for UH Hilo, and they will travel to Turlock, Calif. to take on the Wolves on Friday (Nov. 21) at 3 pm. The winner of that match plays host and No. 2 seed Stanislaus State on Sunday at 3 pm.
The Coyotes and Sea Lions met in the opening match of the season in San Diego, with CSUSB taking a 2-1 win. The Vulcans met the Wolves early in the season as well, with Western Oregon claiming a 3-1 win.
