Three PacWest Squads Make First Ranking

The first official NCAA West Region women's soccer ranking features Azusa Pacific, Point Loma and Concordia as we head into the final week of the regular season.

INDIANAPOLIS—Azusa Pacific, Point Loma and Concordia represent the Pacific West Conference in the first NCAA Division II West Region ranking of 2025.

Last week's list was presented in alphabetical order, not in athletic standing. This week’s release is in ranking order, giving soccer fans much more to chew on.

PacWest leader Azusa Pacific is ranked No. 2, only behind defending national champion Cal Poly Pomona. Point Loma checks in at No. 6 and Concordia is No. 8. There are nine total teams in the ranking. Ultimately, the conference tournament champions from the PacWest, the GNAC and the CCAA will gain automatic NCAA tournament berths, and the next four teams selected will come from this final list for a seven-team tournament. The No. 1 seed will get a first round bye.

The next ranking will come out on Wednesday, Nov. 12, on the eve of the conference tournaments. The final selection show will be on Monday, Nov. 17.
